Hinatayakushi-Hojobo

Isehara-shi Hinata district is located on the east side of Oyama. It is the area with the ravine which can enjoy trout fishing and many venerable temples. Particularly, in April, a cherry tree of Hinatayakushi-temple and Johotuganji-temple, and in about the middle of September, the ear of rice of the village turns gold, and a crimson cluster amaryllis blooming in ridge of the field and many places of field is famous.
In a beginning of Hinata district, I visit Hinatayakushi-Hojobo. I arrived at the main hall of a Buddhist temple from the Hinatayakushi bus stop through the excellent main gate with the two Deva kings image when I walked the approach to a shrine for approximately 20 minutes.
When Buddhist priest Gyoki took a trip to Kumano for 716 years at the beginning of the Nara era, there is the divine message "that a founder makes Hinatazan Ryozenji-temple in this soil of Sagami country", and it is told by The Buddha of Healing when Buddhist priest Gyoki did a founder. This temple is one of three Japanese Yakushi. The principal idol is a The Buddha of Healing image of the hatchet carving. In addition, there is the important cultural property of 25 points of countries including Yakushi Sanzon-zo, seated statue of Amidanyorai, the Four Devas, twelve divine warriors. In addition, 800 years old and the cedar of the said precincts are appointed to the important cultural property of the prefecture and are a venerable temple.
Hinatayakushi became the base of the Hinata mountaineering asceticism for celebrity as mountaineering asceticism ground of Yamabushi(Buddhist monk) until the Meiji early years.山伏とThis is because Yamabushi prostrate himself (Bushi) on the mountain (Yama) and train himself, and the origin of Yamabushi is called Syugen-ja (he train himself and pay delusion and get omen virtue) by another name. Annual festival is held every year in spring on April 15, "Shigi-nobori" by the local volunteer who played the part of Yamabushi (Syugen-ja) by the festival is appointed in Isehara-shi formlessness folk cultural assets by a few traditional events to introduce a figure of Yamabushi into in now.

Johotuganji-temple

There is Johotuganji-temple when I walk from the Hinatayakushi bus stop for approximately 25 minutes. A triple tower is built in the precincts and is combined with a cherry blossom and We can watch the scenery of the feeling that is elegant not to think of to be it with the heart of a mountain.
In this temple, Mokujiki tanzeijounin is a founder under the pretense of Mujoyama-ichinozawain in 1608.Tanzeijounin was born in the Owari Ama-gun (Aichi Ama-gun) in 1551, and he was worshiped with an incarnation of the Amitabha by many people. Tanzeijounin became a priest at only 9 years old and continued much penance. He is told that various Bodhisattvas including the Amitabha descended to him during the ascetic practices in the Dantoku mountain of Sado for 1,597 years.

Soto sect, Amefuriyama, Sekiunji-temple

There is Sekiunji-temple from Johotuganji-temple to approximately 15 minutes on foot. It is the same as Oyama-temple, and Sango of this temple is Amefuriyama. According to the temple biography, a Buddhist priest called Kegonmyozui which performed a pilgrimage of the countries for 718 years approximately 1,300 years ago came over to the place of Hinata and recognized auspicious purple clouds in the ravine. When he asked a villager, he heard it in old days Prince Otomo who lost in a revolt (672 years) of Jinsin escaped from the Oomi country and lived and died in this ground. The Buddhist priest who thought of a prince miserably built a monastery and decided to pray for the prince. For the next 1,489 years, Tenkeisyuon chief bonze of a temple made a founding as a Soto sect.
Because there is five-storied pagoda "mausoleum of Prince Otomo " of the stone of approximately 1.5m in height that the descendant of the attendant erected in the Kamakura era in the boundary, I recommend a visit.
